Governor Wolf Visits Webjunto, Highlighting the Importance of Apprenticeship

Governor Tom Wolf visited Webjunto to meet with employees and apprentices from the Urban Technology Project (UTP) to highlight the importance of workforce training and job creation.

“It’s a proven fact that apprenticeship programs give job seekers a competitive edge by providing them with practical, hands-on job experience,” Governor Wolf said. “Today was a great opportunity to visit an employer that understands the benefits of supporting targeted training opportunities by employing apprentices of the UTP program and to hear firsthand how both the employer and employee benefited from this great program.”
