QSPACES received an initial investment from Jefferson University and wanted to begin work on their web application. The aim was to give LGBTQ+ people a way to find, search, and rate healthcare providers in a safe space.

Discovery
Since QSPACES was still raising money, we worked together to get the basic features into the application with plans to expand. We started by laying out the search and rating functionality. For the rating system we wanted the LGBTQ Competency to be super important but not overtake the overall care. Through discovery we decided on a three-part rating system: rating on overall care, lgbtq competency, and overall rating.
Design
QSPACES wanted a design that didn’t feel clinical and was fun and inviting. We used their logo to generate a bold color palette and really wanted to make the information most prominent.
UI development and application development
We developed this application using Angular and the framework Bootstrap.
