HerePin is an application that connects social travelers around the world. Users can post content in different areas of the world to meet new people and explore new places. HerePin came to us with a great application and an even better redesign. They approached us to implement the new design and new features while also upgrading the application to Ionic 2.

UX Audit, Application UI Updates, Ionic 1 to Ionic 2 Migration
We performed a UX audit to ensure from a psychological and user experience standpoint that all content is structured in the best and most consistent way possible. We worked with HerePin’s design team to perform this audit and make some slight changes to their design to improve hierarchy of information and compatibility with the Ionic framework.
Our team took their existing Ionic 1 application and updated it to Ionic 2 while implementing the new design and brand identity. We also implemented a new messaging functionality that allows travellers to communicate directly as well as a mention feature that allows users to mention each other directly in comments. We also implemented a notification feature so users could see their comments, mentions, and favorites all in one place.
