Discovery
Digi Thermo came to us with a bluetooth device and an Adobe XD prototype. From there we began working with him to simplify the approach. We also helped identify the demographic, goals, and visual style for the application.
At the time, webjunto was experimenting with a style development system that fit into Digi Thermo’s process. We created a tile composition during a discovery meeting which served as a basis for the visual design.
Design
Designed with air conditioners in mind, we created a simple interface that quickly tells users if their vents are blowing warm or cool air, a solid indicator of whether or not their AC is broken. Bummer.
Users can also check a history of their past temperature measurements in a data log.
The look and feel of the design went through iterations to better suit its target demographic.
Development
We developed this application using the framework Ionic 2. This was our first application that linked to a Bluetooth device.
